Volunteer at McGill's Herbarium

If you like arts and crafts while listening to nice music and making new friends then you’ll love volunteering at the McGill Herbarium. We’re looking for volunteers to help glue dried plants to sheets of paper for a few weeks this January so that they can be preserved in our museum. Other tasks include photographing specimens and online cataloging.

Great way to gain experience in a lab/museum setting and acquire skills relevant to ecology, botany, environmental studies and museum studies!

Available times and dates: Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays from 9AM-5PM from January 10th - February 2nd. Students usually volunteer for 1-2 hours per week.

Location: room R-1037 (Raymond building) at Macdonald campus.

Volunteer hours are recognized on student co-curricular records at McGill.

Sign up today by filling out this form or by contacting Kyle Martins (volunteer coordinator) at kyle.martins@mcgill.ca indicating when you might be free to volunteer.
