Callout for the Annual SACOMSS December 6 Vigil

We are looking for poets, speakers, and performers for SACOMSS' annual December 6th Vigil in memoriam of the fourteen women who were killed in the Ecole Polytechnique Massacre. We are calling for performers who are interested in sharing their voices and talents to commemorate the lives lost on December 6, 1989 and to help fight against gendered and sexual violence today.

Submissions can be any form of speech, poetry, prose, narrative, spoken word, music, or performance pieces speaking on themes such as healing or survivorship. We are also looking for fluent/native French speakers to offer French whisper translations at the event. Please send submissions via email to specialprojects@sacomss.org; feel free to reach out for more information or if you have further questions about the event.
