Shorter Blurb: On December 6, 1989, fourteen women were killed in the Ecole Polytechnique Massacre, one of the deadliest mass shootings in Canadian history, which was carried out in order to "fight feminists." Join us on Thursday, December 6 in the Birks Chapel from 5pm to 7pm to come together as a community and stand in solidarity with all those who have, and still are, experiencing gendered and sexual violence. Food will be provided, in addition to a series of musical and spoken word poetry performances. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to speak or perform at the event!
