The Seymour David Steinman Memorial Lecture Series: From Hate to Tolerance

This academic lecture series, hosted by the McGill School of Religious Studies, is in memory of my late father, Seymour David Steinman, who was a graduate of McGill University (BA 1959, BCL 1964). My father was highly interested in current events and was intrigued by the disciplines of political science, religion and history. He felt deeply rooted in his identity as a Jewish Canadian, both through tradition and the wider culture.

This Lecture Series bridges together the area of study in which my PhD is focused with the issues that were of personal interest to my father throughout his lifetime.
