Applications for the Policy & Data Science (PODS) Program are now open!
Interested in tackling complicated policy problems? Want to get paid $6000 to learn how to code?
PODS is an intensive 2.5 month summer program in which students in non-STEM majors are trained in core data science techniques, giving them the programming and quantitative skills to complement their substantive expertise in the social sciences/humanities/education/social work, in order to help them tackle complex policy problems.
The PODS program is open to all McGill undergraduate students with non-technical backgrounds. PODS fellows will be expected to attend program activities full-time (9am-5pm) starting mid-May through the months of June and July; and to do independent preparatory work during March and April. Each student will receive a stipend of $6000 over the three months of the program.
