Homework Zone After School Mentoring Program!

If you're looking for a volunteer opportunity working with youth in schools, connecting you to other McGill students and communities beyond the campus, apply to be a mentor with the Homework Zone Afterschool Mentoring Program!

Launched in 2011, HZ works with schools in the Lester B. Pearson and New Frontiers school boards and the Kahnawá:ke Education Center. McGill volunteers mentor primary or secondary school students by helping them with their homework and engaging them with fun activities and workshops that encourage self-esteem and lifelong learning.

Your volunteer commitment will be approx. 3hr/week, including travel time.

Travel expenses are covered and training is provided.
