About Make Way for YOUth:
The project is part of the Place aux jeunes en region initiative, which was created to counter youth exodus and help young professionals settle in rural areas.
It provides a unique opportunity for soon-to-be or recent post-secondary graduates ages 18 to 35 to receive help and support in choosing where to settle and in launching their careers. The exploratory weekends give participants the opportunity to visit businesses, organizations, and other attractions in the Estrie region. Participants also take part in networking activities, enabling them to develop a network of personal and professional contacts in the region.
